Description
Outemu Phoenix switches are a new, designed from the ground up, click switch for mechanical keyboard inspired by the old Aristotle (aka Taiwan White) switches. They feature a one piece stem from the cross post down thru the rails with a unique under-skirt click mechanism. Result is a double-click sound (click on down-stroke, click on up-stroke)
These switches come with the PCB mount (5 leg) Blue ICE polycarbonate bases and clear no-slot tops
The Phoenix switches are compatible with any MX style mechanical keyboard. The no-slot top does not accept in switch LEDs and is only compatible with PCB mounted/SMD LEDs.
These switches come with the option of 2 different spring weights: 62g (sold out) and 68g (Bottom out force).
Outemu Phoenix switches are enthusiast grade switches and are different from the variants found pre-installed in some keyboards.
NOTE: We don’t suggest using grease or oil to lube the slide rails as it will mute the audible click. RO-59 or dry teflon (PTFE) works fine, but the polycarbonate bases are very smooth
